I don't know how long this will last (probably not long!), but as of today, Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist, which was released two days ago, is ranked at #1 in three Amazon.com bestsellers lists!:

I am a happy man.
To top it all off, on the Catholicism list and Ritual list, I'm shoulder to shoulder with my two favorite Catholic authors: Pope Benedict XVI and Scott Hahn.

I'm really enjoying your book... thanks for writing it!
I'm very curious to hear your reaction to the Holy Father's thoughts on the problem of the dating of the Last Supper, particularly his conclusion, in which he essentially agrees with J.P. Meier that the Last Supper was *not* a Passover meal, at least in Old Covenant terms.
I know that this is hardly a unique theory, but I must say that I'm still surprised that it's one which Ratzinger/Benedict concurs with.
As noted, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts.
