Great stuff, Dr. Bergsma! Every time you tell your story, I get a bit of new insight into the wonderful ways that God draws us further up and further in. Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him." (John 6:44) I can definitely see how the Father was already drawing you with NFP. I know that, for me, it was, among other things, baptism that drew me into the Church. My church didn't believe that baptism forgave sins, but I had read the Bible for myself, and Jesus said that everyone who believed and was baptized would be saved; so I really thought that when I was baptized my sins would be washed away, as, indeed they were. Yes, the Father draws us to him in many ways :-)
